September 19th is International Talk Like a Pirate Day and the Irish press has taken the opportunity to launch a couple shots across the bow of the US Ryder Cup team.  In an article in the latest Dubliner magazine, the publication took shots at the Team's Wives by describing them in very unflattering terms.  They also got Tiger's blood boiling by includiing supposedly topless photos of his wife Elin.  The UK's Daily Mail list most of the other  outlandish statements and the US Team reaction. Of course the Daily Mail also made its statement about the US Dress Code.

British Tabloids have always pushed the edge of social commentary but, have they crossed the line?  Do the US blokes need to take it in stride or use it as the pinnacle of motivation?  Luckily, its a match play event because I think most people know what Tiger's reaction will be on the course.
